Everyone is on a unique journey with their own set of opportunities and challenges. Each of us progress on our journey at different rates and amidst varied circumstances.

Life is often hard for many, and especially hard for some. The pressures of daily living, of friendlessness, and chronic illness can be heavy and discouraging.

We can always use volunteers, financial donations, and in-kind item donations.

There are things that help and hinder, encourage and discourage, refresh and exhaust. Horses and the outdoors have a special effect and convince us of Winston Churchill's opinion that, "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man". 

There are windows of opportunity in each life when influence, be it good or bad, has greatest sway. Youth is a time of great impressions and of great opportunity. It is far easier and effective to realign a maple tree when it is a sapling than years beyond.

We are only a few, but we are a few. We cannot do everything, but we can do something. We have decided to not allow what we cannot do to keep us from doing what we can.

 We remember those who have helped us, whose influence in our lives is cherished. We recall their kindness, effort, grace and support. We wonder at the influence they had upon us and know that apart from them, our journey might well have turned out much different. 

We are giving joyful opportunity to a bunch of kids. In doing so, we, ourselves, are rich recipients. 
We care. We care about people. We care about young people. We long to see people live grow, mature, engage, succeed, be challenged, get up when knocked down, have a dream, pursue a dream and achieve.
